VLC welcomes children from 6 weeks through 6th grade. Teachers meet Michigan licensing requirements and continue learning throughout the year.
Toddlers & preschoolers
Hands-on experiences help children communicate, cooperate, move, create, and understand their world.
Pre-kindergarten
Active learning and thoughtful teacher guidance build confidence, independence, and school readiness.
School-age children
Care through 6th grade may include before school, after school, snow days, and school breaks.

VLC staff training includes licensing requirements and ongoing professional development.
Topics supplied by VLC include CPR, first aid, bloodborne pathogens, child protection law, safe sleep, shaken baby syndrome for applicable staff, and pertinent annual training.
